Equine Institute!
A New kind of School.
Equine Institute

It is an experience not to be missed. Originally offered with sixth graders in mind, this fun filled
day of hands on learning will soon be available for several grade levels. If you are an innovative
teacher or leader looking for an outing to promote stimulus and conceptual learning for your
group, you have come to the right place.

The Institute was created to enhance classes usually taught in the classroom (such as English,
Math, Science, Social Studies and Art) by basing these studies on equestrian informative
activities. Located at a working stables, each class is highlighted by horse based information and
awareness. Riding classes are offered at the stables but are not a part of the Institute’s day
session.

The director of the Institute, Tiffany Bliss Watkins, is dedicated to the process of experience
based learning.  She has a BS in Animal Science, MA in Outdoor Education and over 12 year of
instruction and program development. She is a certified Riding Instructor with CHA (Certified
Horsemanship Association) and an Assistant Clinician with CCHI (Christian Camping
Horsemanship International). Tiffany has also been involved with both residential and day camp
industry programming and management.

B. Equestrian is currently offering the Equine Institute day experience at a new location in the
beautiful pastoral countryside of Ooltewah, Tennessee.  Sessions are run by a combination of
qualified instructors and volunteers.
