Check out what's happening

B. Equestrian Riding Academy provides young people to learn a wide
variety of equestrian and life skills.
We focus on learning safe, sound, and practical fundamental riding and
husbandry skills for children 4 years old and up.

Our young rider programs
4-6 year olds may begin in our young rider programs. Lessons last for a
1/2 hour and include in saddle as well as ground skills.  A typical riding
lesson would include ground skills such proper care of horse, care of
tack and equipment, and placement of tack, etc.  In addition riding skills
will be taught at students pace and place an emphasis on balance,
respect for horse, self and team mates, mastery of basic horsemanship
skills and lots of fun.

B. Equestrian Riding Academy
Students may join the riding academy upon turning 7 years of age no
matter what riding level they are at.  Lessons are often taught in a group
setting of no more than 3 children. Lessons last for 1 hour.  Students
are required to learn ground skills such as independent leading, proper
tacking and un-tacking of horses.  Riding skills range from beginner to
advanced in the Academy but students will be placed in a group
corresponding to their skill level.  Students may advance through
testing by an instructor.

Horse Journaling Class
Horse Journaling is a fun and unique way to experience horses and
barn life.  Learn about equine behavior, environment, and
communication.  Each class period will consist of a fun activity and a
horse journaling theme to explore.  All themes and activities are horse
related.  Come join us and develop a wonderful skill that you can
continue to enjoy in a variety of settings.  Why not start in our next
session?
